Metroid Dread is one of the most important releases of the year for Nintendo Switch, and those who are undecided about watching the game can now do so thanks to a free demo available in the Eshop. Nintendo revealed the news on Twitter tonight along with a new and fun artwork with the visor of Samus Aran in a pumpkin. The game has been a great success of criticism for the company, but the Metroid series has never been a great seller for Nintendo. With luck, this demonstration will give Switch owners a better idea of what to expect from the game!
The Nintendo Tweet announcing the demonstration can be found below.
It s time to increase fear for an early Halloween gift.

Metroid DRead is not technically a game of terror, but linking it to the Halloween season makes a lot of sense! The Metroid franchise is best known for its exploration elements, but Miedo Changes the formula by adding exciting encounters with EMMI robots. The previous Games of Metroid have presented some moments of tension (the series was inspired by Ridley Scott Extraterrestre ), but metroid Dread carries things at a much greater level. Players seeking something that fill them from Fear this week should not look for more.
Unfortunately, it is not clear if the progress of the demonstration can be transferred to the full version of the game. Nintendo has offered that option in the past, so the players do not have to relapute ground that already covered. Hopefully, that option is intact, so players who decide to buy the game can maintain their progress and move on. With the Christmas season around the corner, this demonstration could even convince players to add the game to their wishes lists.
This year is coming to an end quickly and metroid Dread looks like a strong candidate for the game of the year. The title has received an almost universal acclamation since its launch earlier this month, including a score of 5 out of 5 of my own review for comicbook.com. You can see it right here along with our previous coverage of the game.
